MWK Parent Hub

Your Home Base for Raising Mighty Warriors

Everything here is built around one simple idea: discipleship should reach the whole child and fit real family life.

We call this Multisensory Discipleship — helping kids learn with their eyes, ears, hands, hearts, and imagination.

What This Builds in Your Child

Strong Identity in Christ

They will know exactly who they are and Whose they are — unshakable confidence rooted in God’s Word.

Clear Sense of Purpose

They’ll discover why God made them and how their unique gifts fit into His big story.

Bold Everyday Faith

They’ll learn to trust Jesus in the ordinary moments and live courageously for Him every day.

What Is Multisensory Discipleship?

Children are uniquely designed by God. Multisensory Discipleship brings all learning styles together so truth moves from the head to the heart.

  • Stories, visuals & characters help them see God’s truth
  • Songs, meditations & videos help them hear it
  • Crafts & challenges help them practice it
  • Confessions & prayer help them believe & live it

Everyday Discipleship Moments

You don’t need long sessions. Just weave the lesson into normal life:

  • Play the song/meditation in the car
  • Read the story at bedtime
  • Use discussion prompts at meals
  • Do the craft during the week
  • Complete the challenge on the weekend
  • Repeat the confession all week

4 Mighty Missions

Mission 1: The Best Trade Ever – Romans 10:9 Unlocked

Thank you for leading your Mighty Warrior through this week’s identity lesson. This guide is here to help you use every part of the MWK learning page with confidence. Your presence and your words matter. Your steady consistency more than perfection shapes their identity in Christ.

How This Lesson Flows

On the learning page your child will move through eight parts during the week.

Story → Discussion → Activities → Memory Verse → Confession → Challenge → Meditation → Song

You do not have to do everything in one sitting. Use small pockets of time and come back through the week.

Big Idea

Jesus made the Best Trade Ever. He took our sin, guilt, and old life and gave us forgiveness, freedom, and a brand new heart.

Memory Verse – Romans 10:9

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Connect “confess with your mouth” to the Mighty Confession, and “believe in your heart” to trusting Jesus instead of self.

Simple Truths to Repeat Often

  • Jesus makes you new
  • You are forgiven
  • God loves you
  • Jesus traded His life for yours
  • You belong to Him
Quick Rhythm
Story and discussion on day one. Activity one afternoon. Memory verse and confession all week. Challenge and song on the weekend.
Best Moments
Story at bedtime. Discussion at the table. Meditation before bed or in the car. Confession any time your child needs a reminder.
Keep It Simple
You do not have to finish every piece. Pick a few and do them well. The goal is connection with God and connection with your child.

Step by Step Walkthrough

1. Story

Purpose Let your child feel and imagine the truth.

How Read or listen together. Ask what they noticed or liked. Celebrate questions.

Ask “What part stood out to you most” “What made this trade so important”

2. Discussion

Purpose Connect the story to real life.

How Use the prompts on the page. Let your child talk freely. Do not rush. Listen and affirm.

Ask “What do you think Jesus traded for you” “What does it mean that you are made new”

3. Activities

Purpose Help your child experience the gospel with their hands.

How Choose a simple craft such as the New Heart Reveal or another hands on project. Focus on fun, not perfection.

Say This is a picture of how Jesus gives us a new heart.

4. Memory Verse

Purpose Hide God’s truth in their heart.

How Recite Romans 10:9 together. Use the memory games. Practice it with fun voices or motions.

Ask “What does this verse tell us about how we are saved”

5. Confession

Purpose Build identity through spoken truth.

How Watch the confession video. Say each line slowly and let your child echo you, then let them lead.

Ask “How do you feel when you say these words out loud”

6. Mighty Warrior Challenge

Purpose Turn the truth into action.

How Read the challenge steps. Help your child choose who they will share Romans 10:9 with. If you have a printer, you can use the printable challenge sheet.

Ask “When do you want to do this” “Do you want to draw it, write it, or use the sheet”

Challenge Sheet (PDF)

7. Meditation

Purpose Help them slow down and receive God’s peace.

How Play the meditation audio. Invite slow deep breaths. End with a short blessing over them.

Say May God fill your heart with His peace and joy.

8. Song

Purpose Seal the lesson with worship.

How Listen or sing along. Add motions or a little dance. Replay through the week.

If Your Child Struggles This Week

Gently remind them:

  • You did not lose your new heart.
  • Jesus still calls you His.
  • Being made new means Jesus helps you grow every day.

Identity comes first. Behavior grows out of identity. Speak over your child who God says they are.

If Your Child Asks About Salvation

They may be ready if they:

  • Ask what it means to follow Jesus.
  • Show a sense of right and wrong.
  • Talk about heaven, forgiveness, or sin.
  • Express personal interest in knowing God.

If they are not ready, there is no pressure. You are planting seeds and God is the One who draws hearts.

If Your Child Is Ready to Receive Jesus

“I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. God, thank You for loving and saving me. I receive Your free gift of salvation.
In Jesus Name, amen.”

Adapting for Different Ages

Ages 4 to 6

  • Keep times short and simple.
  • Use crafts, repetition, and motions.
  • Focus on one main truth. Jesus makes you new.

Ages 7 to 9

  • Let them lead the confession.
  • Encourage questions and deeper thoughts.
  • Ask them to retell the story.

Ages 10 to 12

  • Invite simple journaling or drawing.
  • Practice explaining Romans 10:9 in their own words.
  • Give chances to help lead younger siblings.

“I bless you to walk as a Mighty Warrior who is made new in Christ. May your heart be full of peace, joy, courage, and God’s love.”

Lord, give me wisdom, joy, and grace as I lead my child this week. Thank You for making us both new in You.
